Jasmine Renee’ Maxwell
Jasmine Renee’ Maxwell beautiful daughter and true gift from God was born on September 28, 1989 to
the proud parents of Stanley Roy Maxwell and LaShonda Walker-Ross.
Jasmine Renee’, which she was affectionately called Renee’ or Nae-Nae was loved by so many. Renee’
was known for her big Smiles, Kindness, Hugs, and most of all, the Love she would show you once she
met you. She “met” so many family and friends who came along to encourage and speak life over her
throughout the years. Our dear sweet Renee’ was richly blessed, and in a short time she spent on this
Earth, she blessed, and continues to bless countless others.
Psalm 100 4-5 says, “Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with Praise. Give thanks to Him;
Bless his name. For the Lord is good; His loving kindness is everlasting and his faithfulness to All
generations. Despite her disabilities and cognitive difficulties, Renee’ overcame all odds! She was a
fighter and won the FIGHT! She graduated High School on June 1, 2012 walking across the stage of
DeSoto High School with her Proud Dad Stanley, Grandma Janice and Auntie Pat right by her side as her
biggest cheerleader and supporter.
Renee’ enjoyed her summer vacations to Walt Disney World in Florida and her daily car rides with her
Grandma Janice and Auntie Pat to Family Dollar on Polk and 67. Auntie Pat still mentions to this day,
that the ladies at the store always ask her “where is that sweet baby Renee’!” With her backpack on her
back in tow, Renee’ was allowed to enter the store and fill the backpack with all kinds of cookies, chips,
snack cakes, and most importantly a brand new baby doll of her choice. She did not understand the
word “No”! She was the most loving, happy, child you would want to meet.
Though our hearts ache, we hold on to her spirit that continues to surround us, reminding us that love
never dies it transforms.
Renee’, know that Daddy and your moms, will never forget you, and that we will always love you
forever! We hope to be reunited with you one day. Gone too soon, but never ever forgotten.

As she entered her eternal home in heaven the pearly gates opened and took Jasmine Renee’ by the
hand, and guided her onto the golden road to her heavenly home.
